Admissions Online

Welcome to Trinity Christian Academy and thank you for your interest. Please review the information below to begin your online admissions application process.

Step 1: Review TCA's Admissions Requirements:

TCA is a covenant Christian school. This means that families at TCA enter an annual covenant partnership of Christian discipleship and education with the school along with their local Bible-believing church. In order for a family to be considered for admission at TCA at least one parent or legal guardian must meet the Family Admissions Requirements below. Each student applicant must also meet the Student Admissions Requirements listed below to be considered for admission at TCA.

Family Admissions Requirements:

  • At least one parent or legal guardian must be a professing believer in Jesus Christ and a regular part of a Christian church body of believers at least twice per month in person. During the application, you will be asked to provide the name of the church you are attending as well as a reference from a leader at that church.
  • Supportive in writing and otherwise of the school’s mission, policies, practices, and Statement of Foundational Doctrines.
  • In agreement in principle and practice that God’s design for a family is one husband and one wife joined together in holy marriage and that cohabitation and homosexual relationships are not God’s standard for the family.

Student Admissions Requirements:

  • Student records must provide proof of positive grade level academic standing in order to thrive within the rigorous academic context of  TCA. Additionally, academic testing in mathematics and English are required and evaluated in the admission process. Students not academically on grade level may be candidates for TCA’s REACH program, may need to repeat a grade, or may not be admitted to TCA.
  • A clear disciplinary record is required in writing from the previous school(s) for the prior 12 months to be eligible for acceptance consideration to TCA. All students are to exhibit a pattern of respect in attitude and action for others, school policies, and expectations.
  • Students entering grades 6-12 are required to sign and respectfully adhere to TCA’s Code of Honor.
  • TCA does not accept incoming seniors from schools in  Jackson/Madison County unless there are extenuating circumstances that are evaluated and determined by the Admissions Committee.
  • All new students are required to successfully complete a minimum of a 9-week probationary period to evaluate progress and potential future success at TCA in the areas of academics and respectful behavior.
